War on Nature: Sumatra

I’ve worked extensively in the rainforests of Borneo, Papua, and Sumatra, documenting wildlife and conservation efforts for a range of NGOs and international organizations. My most recent assignment was as Director of Photography on War on Nature: Sumatra, where I shot on RED Digital Cinema deep in the jungle under extremely challenging conditions.

From long treks through leech-infested swamps to days spent hauling gear in torrential rain, I bring a camera operator’s mindset fused with the resilience of a bush mechanic—adapting and troubleshooting in real time to capture the story no matter the obstacles.
